Whereas, the mission of the Wasagamack Leadership is to serve its people and to uphold, protect and preserve the inherent, aboriginal and treaty rights of the Wasagamack members and their traditional lands.
And Whereas, the Wasagamack members desie to regain self-sufficiency and exercise self-determination.
And Whereas, Our language, Culture, Laws and connection to Mother Nature (Water & Air) which were provided to us by the Creator, must be protected and maintained.
And Whereas, The true spirit and intent of our Treaty with the Crown must be met, upheld and maintained.
Therefore be it resolved that, Wasagamack First Nation Leadership with its membership will work together to maintain a Strong and Healthy Nation
